So apparently both Jason de Rulo and Elton John are holding concerts in La Crosse.  I wish I had $80 to spare for Sir Elton, but with my luck I'd just be working that night anyway.  Um...though apparently not at my friend's workplace, who just sent a rejection e-mail.  Oh, boo.

Spring is definitely here, as it's rained twice in the past three or four days.  We've decided to plant some potatoes that would otherwise have gone to slime, so I'm glad for the rain.  But to see patches of brown in the city's newly green areas -- where the snow plows went barreling through a month ago, or where road salt piled up -- makes me sad ( Read more... )

Apparently Eric has some kind of lease paranoia, which makes it extremely fucking difficult to find an apartment.  God and Craigslist only know how he did it the first two times; everybody I find wants a year-long lease.  (Even on Craigslist!)
